ZAPDD focuses on improving lives of People with Intellectual Disabilities and their families. In achieving that, we:
- Advocate and lobby for inclusive policies and legislation
- Build capacity of PWIDs, their families and the other members to take lead in championing for their rights
- Create awareness on the rights and concerns of PWIDs and their parents
- Establish partnerships and linkages with government, non-governmental organizations and other agencies that are committed to the causes of PWIDs
